Coming soon to iPhone and Android
The gym log that never leaves your phone.
Trainlog builds a training plan around your goal, logs a set in three taps, and shows you exactly how much stronger you are getting. No account. No servers. No adverts.
One email when it is out, and nothing else — there is no mailing list to unsubscribe from.
- No account to create
- No servers of ours
- Encrypted on your device
- Exporting is free, forever
What it does
Built for the gym floor, not for a feed.
Big buttons, three taps to log a set, and a rest timer that starts by itself. Open it, log it, get on with your set.
Free
A plan that fits you
Answer a few questions — your goal, where you train, how many days a week — and Trainlog builds the plan around them. Train at a gym, at home with dumbbells, or with nothing but your own body weight.
- Rename days, swap exercises, add your own
- Around 50 exercises, each with clear instructions and one coaching cue
- Sets, reps and rest are filled in for you

Free
Log a set in three taps
Trainlog remembers what you lifted last time, so most sets are one press of Save. Weight moves in real gym increments — 0.5 kg or 2.5 lbs — not in whatever a slider lands on.
- Fix or delete any set you have already logged
- A rest timer counts down on its own after every set
- Add 30 seconds, or skip it and carry on

Premium
See real progress, not a wall of numbers
Pick any exercise and any period — month, quarter, year, or everything — and get the things you actually want to know.
- What you lifted at the start of the period, and what you lift now
- Your growth as a percentage, and your all-time record
- Estimated one-rep max, so heavier weight and more reps both count
- How many weeks in a row you have trained
- Which muscle groups you have quietly been skipping

Premium
Keep score afterwards
Padel, football or basketball when the session is done? Trainlog keeps score from your phone or your wrist, so nobody has to argue about it.
- Padel uses real scoring — 15, 30, 40, and first to two from deuce
- Football and basketball too
- Scores are stored with the rest of your history, on your phone

On your wrist
Leave the phone in your bag.
Log your sets from your watch, keep the padel score from your watch, and everything syncs both ways. Works on Apple Watch and on Wear OS — Samsung Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel Watch.

Your data
We built it so we cannot see your training.
This is not a promise about what we choose to do with your data. There is simply nowhere for it to go.
No account, no server
There is no sign-up, no login and no profile of you anywhere. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no breach to be caught in and no analytics watching you train.
Encrypted where it lives
Everything sits in an encrypted database on your own phone. Without the phone and its unlock code, it is not readable — by us or by anyone else.
Yours to take, yours to delete
Export a backup whenever you like, optionally sealed with a passphrase only you know. One button deletes everything, permanently — the rows and the encryption key.
Exporting is free, and always will be. It is not a Premium feature and it never becomes one, because your training history should never be locked behind a subscription.

Questions
The things people ask first.
Which devices does Trainlog run on?
iPhone and Android phones, with companion apps for Apple Watch and Wear OS (Samsung Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch).
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login anywhere in the app. Open it, fill in a short profile that stays on your phone, and start training.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes — gyms have bad signal and Trainlog does not care. Everything happens on the device. A connection is only needed for the app store to confirm a Premium subscription.
What happens to my history if I stop paying?
Nothing. It stays on your phone and you keep planning and logging for free. Exporting your data is free in every version, so your history is never held hostage.
Can I move to a new phone?
Yes. Export a backup from the old phone and restore it on the new one. Exporting is free; restoring a backup is part of Premium.
Kilograms or pounds?
Either. Pick your unit in your profile and weight steps in real gym increments — 0.5 kg or 2.5 lbs — so the number always matches the plates in front of you.
Is my data really encrypted?
Yes. The database on your phone is encrypted, and a backup file can additionally be sealed with a passphrase only you know (Argon2id and AES-256-GCM). Lose that passphrase and not even we can open the file — which is the point.
Does Trainlog work with Garmin or Fitbit?
Not today. Fitbit devices no longer run third-party apps at all since Google closed that platform, so no fitness app can support them. Garmin is a possibility for a later release, but we would rather ship it than promise it.
How do I cancel Premium?
In your App Store or Play Store subscription settings, the same place as every other subscription on your phone. We never see your payment details.
Trainlog is nearly here.
Leave your email and you will get one message on launch day — nothing before it, nothing after.
